Sitting 652m above sea level, Te Manga is the highest point in the Cook Islands. The hike to the summit takes roughly 6.5 hours return and has some steep sections with ropes at certain points to help you through. It'll definitely get your heart rate up but the views along the way and especially at the top are absolutely amazing! Be sure to pack water, a snack, chuck your sunscreen on and check the forecast so you don't get caught on a slippery hike. There are areas of the track that are not so obvious so if you are not familiar then there are guided tours available.
